Freevobe is your local vibecoding agent. Install it, connect Ollama and build software through natural-language chat — no API keys, no token counting, no cloud dependency.
Freevobe is distributed through GitHub Releases.
No tokens. No limits. Just vibes.
The whole loop on your machine — plan, diff, terminal and tests in one workspace.
Built for the AI & vibe coding community
Cloud agents bill you for thinking. Freevobe runs the model you already have, so the meter never starts.
Usage limits
Run locally with Ollama.
Your GPU does the work. No rate limits, no weekly caps and no waiting for a reset at midnight.
API costs
No per-token billing.
One local model, unlimited prompts. The only cost is the electricity you already pay for.
Cloud privacy concerns
Your code stays on your machine.
Files, prompts and diffs never leave your computer unless you explicitly connect a cloud model.
Features
Connect to your local models in one click.
Chat, plan, edit, diff and run — in one clean workspace.
Review diffs and approve commands before anything changes.
Use Markdown skills to teach Freevobe your workflow.
Create branches, commit changes and run tests without leaving the app.
Connect external tools through the Model Context Protocol.
How it works
Grab the native app for Windows, macOS or Linux. Nothing else to install — the agent ships with it.
Freevobe finds localhost:11434, lists your models and shows which ones support tool calling.
Describe the app you want. Review every diff, approve commands and let the agent commit.

Skills & templates
Skills are plain Markdown files with YAML frontmatter. Drop them in your project and the agent picks them up — no plugins, no rebuild.

Gives Back
Freevobe does not sell your attention. Instead of an advertising slot, the app can offer a voluntary reminder about a cause you picked. You give directly to the organisation — Freevobe never handles the money.
Freevobe ships without ad slots, ad scripts and ad networks. Nothing in the app is for sale.
The app has no checkout, no account and no payment provider. Every link opens the organisation’s own page.
The reminder in the chat is opt-in, appears in its own block and never touches the agent’s context.
If you record a contribution, it is marked as self-reported and stored only in your local database.
The catalogue is editorial and links point at each organisation's own front page rather than at a checkout, so a changed payment flow never turns into a broken promise. Freevobe has no partnership, commission or referral agreement with any organisation listed here. Read the full description in docs/gives-back.md.
Privacy
Freevobe runs locally by default. Connect Ollama on your own machine and keep your projects, prompts and files private.
Data path
Everything in that loop runs on hardware you already own. Nothing is uploaded unless you explicitly connect a cloud model.
FAQ
Still curious? The docs cover the agent loop, skills and MCP in detail.
Install the app, point it at Ollama and describe what you want to build. The diff lands before a single file changes.
Freevobe is distributed through GitHub Releases.
Free to use with your local Ollama models.
